Currently, we are seeking a number of Traffic Controllers, and a Crew Leader to join our growing team on a casual basis. You will be on jobs right across Melbourne, with base location of Bayswater North.
Duties:
- Set up, manage and remove temporary traffic control schemes and signage
- Direct traffic using a stop-slow sign and other traffic control devices
- Coordinate with other road traffic personnel, construction workers and emergency response teams
- Complete site checks and monitor traffic behaviour and flow to ensure public safety
- Take instructions from crew leaders, foremen, managers, inspectors, auditors or officials.
Experience:
- Valid traffic control tickets – RIIWHS302D and RIIWHS205D
- Red/White Construction Card
- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence
- Crew Lead – Minimum 2 years experience in Traffic Control and team leading
- Crew Lead – Manual Drivers Licence
- Crew Lead – Valid First Aid Level 2
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
